Description

The National Institute of Health (NIH) National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases (NIDDK) intends to purchase Scientific Equipment. The Institute is interested in purchasing an AKTA FPLC with FRAC 950 and accessories from Amersham Pharmacia Biotech Inc, 800 Centennial Avenue, Piscataway, NJ 08855. The area of research involves the deermination of 3D structure and dynamics of proteins using NMR spectroscopy. A central component of this research is the large scale purification of proteins. These proteins are then used for structural studies using NMR spectroscopy. This notice is for the purchase of commercial equipment within the Simplified Acquisition Threshold of up to $ 5 million dollars. Interested vendors that are capable of providing the Government with the scientific equipment above may request a copy of the RFQ in writing or by FAX to 301-480-4226 to the Contracting office prior to the closing date of this notice. It is anticipated that the RFQ-NIDDK-01-667 will be available fifteen (15) days after the release of the RFQ. Receipt of quotations will be due ten (10) days after the release of the RFQ. The anticipated award date will be September 4, 2001. Request for copies of the RFQ must be in writing to the National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases 6707 Democracy Blvd, Two Democracy Plaza Suite 774B, Bethesda, MD 20892 Attention: Desiree Kelly.
