Description: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number for this combined synopsis/solicitation is F29651-01-Q-0517 and is being issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document and the incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-24. This acquisition is a 100% small business set-aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 421610 with a size standard of 500 employees or less. This requirement will be solicited under FAR Part 12 utilizing commercial acquisition procedures, therefore the following provisions apply: 52.212-1, instructions to Offerors -- Commercial items; 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial items; 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions -- Commercial items; and 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes Or Executive Orders -- Commercial items. Offeror must complete FAR Clause 52.212-3 " Offeror Representation and Certifications -- -Commercial Items", which may be down-loaded from http://farsite.hill.af.mil/farsite_alt.html. If offeror does not have internet access contact the Contracting Officers listed above and the Representations and Certifications will be faxed to the offeror. This solicitation consists of (4) four line items. Line item 1: FIXTURE, Lighting, for use with 1000 watt metal halide lamp to include 60hz multi-voltage ballast, auto regulated ballast, 55 degree ambient temperature, 1.5 spacing, 22" enclosed luminaire, with slide on primary electrical disconnect option. General Electric P/N FGL01MOA515E2N or Equal. Qty 97 ea; Line item 2: Connector, Single remote power connector with 3 foot cord. General Electric P/N SRPC3-FDG or Equal Qty 97 ea; Line item 3: Hook, hanging, male threaded hanging hook, General Electric P/N HOOKM or Equal. Qty 194 ea; Line item 4: Lamp 1000-watt metal Halide lamp with mogule base, General Electric Model or Equal. Qty 97 ea. Pricing must be FOB Destination. Telephone responses will not be accepted. All prospective offerors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database prior to award of any contract.
