Size/Dimensions: Approximately 21.70 inches long x 0.449 inches. Shaft and end adapter approximately 2.10 inches wide. Predominate material of manufacture: Drive cable is AMS 5678 cres and outer cashing is AMS 5591 cres. Form, Fit and Function: Flex shaft turns actuator ball screw with signal from convergent exhaust nozzle control (CENC) to open and close augmentor nozzle throat area. Applicable to: F100 Engine. Destn: Tinker Air Force Base Ok 73145-3032. Delivery: 28 SEP 2001 376 ea . Sources must be approved prior to being considered for award. The Government is not required to delay award pending approval. The approximate issue/response date will be 18 Sep 2001. The proposed contract action is for supplies and services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one, or a limited number of sources under the authority of FAR 6.302.
