Description

The Government has a requirement for a contractor to perform full service on and the necessary manpower and equip; to clean central receiving Courtyard daily (m-f). Contractor shall be responsible to clean all debris on floor around garbage compactor, in front to loading dock and in hampers, tubs, or wagons left there to be emptied. All debris is to be placed in open topped roll off containers supplied by the VA. Any material left on the loading dock is not included in the scope of work. Bales of cardboard, furniture, beds or anything of this nature is not included in this scope of work. The contractor is also responsible to remove debris from two yard drain strainers and wash down around area under compactor hopper daily. Cleaning to be done in the evening (after dietetics kitchen closes). In addition, clean loading dock (ambulance entrance -- old navy clinic B89) OPC ramp enclosure (B88) and lobby east entrance including basement stairwell B89; place all bagged debris collected in dumpster. Provide these services as follows: OPC ramp daily (M-F), lobby east entrance once a week on Mondays. From October 1, 2001 thru September 30, 2002; at the Brooklyn Campus, 800 Poly place, New York, NY 11209 This procurement shall be procured and awarded using the commercial item procedures. The term of the contract shall be from Date of award through September 30, 2002 with a Government option to extend the term of the contract for (2) additional one-year periods. This procurement is for small business set aside.
