Description

The National Park Service (NPS), Golden Gate National Recreation Area (GGNRA) has identified a requirement to remove approximately 18 Eucalyptus trees, 13-30 inches in diameter and 30 to 40 Eucalyptus trees 12 inches or less in diameter. All debris 12 inches or less in diameter created by cutting down the trees will be chipped on site and spread evenly throughout the area. All debris less than 12 inches in diameter that has previously been cut down in the area will also be chipped on site and spread evenly throughout the area. All cut tree trunks greater than 12 inches in diameter will be left on site. All stumps created by the tree removal will be treated with the herbicide RoundUp to prevent resprouting. This project requires a mandatory site visit by all interested bidders. The National Park Service welcomes the participation of small, minority and woman-owned business enterprises.
