Description
The U.S. Coast Guard requires navigation data for the HU-25 (Falcon) and HH-65 (Dolphin) aircraft. The contractor will be responsible for providing this data, which is used in the operation of the Area Navigation (RNAV) systems on these aircraft, to the Coast Guard?s Central Update Facility formatted and encoded in accordance with Aeronautical Radio Incorporated (ARINC) 424 standards. The data must be delivered by the contractor on a fifty-six day cycle. Optional data may be ordered by the Coast Guard and must be delivered within three days of order. This commercial item acquisition is being conducted in accordance with FAR Part 12 and FAR Part 13.5. The solicitation number is DTCG23-02-R-DAV001 and it is being issued as a Request for Proposals (RFP) and will result in a one-year firm, fixed-price contract with four option years. The NAICS code is 514210 and the small business size standard is $18.0M. This procurement will conducted under full and open competition. This procurement is subject to the availability of FY02 funds. The solicitation will be posted to www.eps.gov and available for download on or about 03 August 2001 under RFP number DTCG23-01-R-MMC180. It is anticipated that proposals will be due no later than 20 August 2001. =20 For Minority, Women Owned, and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises: The Department of Transportation (DOT) Office of Small Disadvantaged Business Utilization (OSDBU) has a program to assist minority, women-owned and disadvantaged enterprises to acquire short term working capital assistance for transportation-related contracts. Loans are available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $500,000.
