Description

The Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) intends to award multiple IDIQ sole source contracts including four one-year option periods for the evaluation of emergency room records in support of all-trauma data collection. The awards will be made to the following three individuals: Esther Barren, James Taylor and Don Kendall. This procurement is for up to a maximum total of seventy-five (75) visits per year. This procurement requires experience and knowledge using the National Electronic Injury Surveillance System (NEISS). The NEISS system is a unique system that requires months of training to learn the coding idiosyncrasies. Training requires travel to a minimum of three (3) hospitals around the country. Performance is anticipated to begin Sep. 1, 2001. The estimated release date for CPSC-Q-01-1185 is August 15, 2001. The NAICS code is 541690.
