Description

Requirement is for the design and manufacture of equipment to convey various components of 30MM Depleted Uraniuum (DU) ammunition from a breakdown machine. This demilitarization system will be used to facilitate a production building located at the Crane Army Ammunition Activity (CAAA), Crane, Indiana. This equipment will be used to convey hardware and a double-based black powder propellant generated during the breakdown process. Specifications and drawings are provided that depict the components required for the vacuum collection system. No installation will be required.
