Description

Fleet & Industrial Supply Center Puget Sound, in support of the CVN Steam Project, intends to solicit for a variety of Service Steam Materials, such as: 1) Tubing, CL-200, CNA 90/10, Alloy 706, various sizes; 2) Tees, CL-200, bell end, CNA 90/10, various sizes; 3) Boss, 400 psi, non-pilot, CNA 90/10, SWLD, various sizes; 4) Reducers, CL-200, CNA 90/10, street/bell-end, various sizes; 5) Elbows 90, CL-200, CNA 90/10, LR, bell-end, various sizes; 6) Elbow 90, W/RDCR, CNA 90/10, LR, SW; 7) Elbows 45, CL-200, CNA 90/10, LR, bell-end, various sizes; 8) Couplings, CL-200, CNA 90/10, slip-on, SWLD, various sizes; 9) Union Assembly (with nuts, retainer ring and o-ring), CNA 90/10, 200 psi, 425 deg SWLD, various sizes; 10) Flanges, CNA 90/10, 250 psi, SWLD, various sizes; and 11) Tees, RDGC, CL-200 CNA 90/10, various sizes. The resulting contract will be a firm fixed price indefinite delivery indefinite quantity supply type contract. It will contain a Base Quantity for one CVN-class ship and Option Quantities for up to eight additional CVN-class ships. FOB Destination at Bremerton WA, San Diego CA and Norfolk VA. This procurement is 100% small business set-aside. When issued, the RFP will be posted on the Navy Electronic Commerce Online (NECO) web link "www.neco.navy.mil". All offerors wishing to submit an offer are responsible for downloading their own copy of the RFP from this website (WinZIP is required) and to frequently monitor that site for any amendments to the RFP. This office will not maintain a solicitation mailing list. Paper copies of the RFP and/or amendments will not be mailed. Failure to respond to electronically posted solicitations and associated amendments prior to the date and time set for receipt of proposals may render your proposal nonresponsive and result in rejection. No telephone requests for the RFP will be accepted. An email request to "julie_a_peterson@puget.fisc.navy.mil" will be accepted in the event that an offeror experiences problems downloading the RFP from the NECO website. All responsible sources may submit an offer. Note 1 applies.
