Description

The U.S. Special Operations command, 160th SOAR, Ft. Campbell, KY has a requirement for field service support associated with the MH/AH-6 aircraft. The total period of performance shall be for three (3) years. The Base Period of performance shall begin 1 October 2001, ending 30 Sep 2002, with options to extend for two (2), one-year periods. The Government intends to solicit and award on a sole-source basis to Boeing who is currently performing field service support at Ft. Campbell, KY. This is considered a "follow-on" contract. Solicitation USZA95-01-R-0036 is anticipated to be issued on or before 24 August 2001 with an anticipated award date of 1 October 2001. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered; however, since Boeing retains all proprietary data associated with the type of support they provide, the Government does not anticipate any competition. All pertinent information, such as the statement of work, associated clauses, etc. shall be contained in the solicitation. =20
