Description

Services to customize, for the needs of the U. S. Maritime Administration (MARAD), existing OSHA Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response (HAZWOPER) training that is targeted to the maritime industry (i.e., water oil spills and cleanup from ocean-going privately-owned or public vessels). MARAD to provide a bunkering video and check list to be incorporated into the training. After MARAD acceptance, conduct this training for approximately 200-225 MARAD staff and contractor staff and crew. The training is to be provided once each quarter for one year at each of the following locations: Fort Eustis, Virginia, Beaumont, Texas, and Benicia, California. ATTENTION: Minority, Women-owned, and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs)! The Department of Transportation (DOT), Short-Term Lending Program (STLP) offers working capital financing in the form of lines of credit to finance accounts receivable for transportation related contracts.
