Description

The US Department of Energy intends to award a sole source contract to Mobius Management Systems LB, 120 Old Post Road, Rye, New York 10580, for renewal of continuous maintenance for the following proprietary software products: ViewDirect for MVS with options; MVS Core, Packet Protection, 10 copies of CICS & VTAM Server Sessions, Microfiche Basic, and Remote Job Output with VRO Tape ViewDirect, and OS/390 Server Access, AFP, DJDE/Metacode, and image. The period of performance will be from 10/01/01 thru 09/30/02. This proposed contract is for supplies and services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. This "Notice of Intent" is not a request for competitive proposals, however, all proposals received within 15 calendar days after the date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government (this timeframe supersedes that of Note 22).
