Description

The purpose of this Request for Proposal is to obtain services to complete species-specific written assessment reports on various species located in Region 2 of the USDA Forest Service. Species are located in the states of Colorado, Wyoming, Nebraska, South Dakota and Kansas. The contractor shall furnish all labor, supervision, equipment, transportation and incidentals to complete the reports in accordance with the specifications and provisions of the contract. Services include completion of a written report describing the biology, ecology and status of Emphasis Species in order to help determine effects of management on species viability in the Rocky Mountain Region. The reports shall be based on the current state of science available. The procurement is available for full and open competition. Multiple awards are anticipated with a base item plus seven option items, all of which shall be exercised no later than December 2001. Some options may be exercised at time of initial award and others shall be exercised by expiration dates noted for each option. All responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered.
