Description

The Government intends to award a follow-on contract of a basic year and four one year options to the Hale Koa Hotel for landscaping services at the Asia-Pacific Center for Security Studies. This is going to be a follow-on/sole source acquisition due to the fact that the Asia-Pacific Center occupies a building owned and situated on Armed Forces Recreation Center of the Pacific (AFRC) property and there is a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the Asia-Pacific Center and AFRC with respect to the use of their building and services located on or provided by AFRC. This MOU specifies that the maintenance of the grounds will be accomplished by the landscaping staff of the Fort DeRussy Armed Forces Recreation Center (Hale Koa Hotel).
