Description

Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision to completely upgrade elevators PE-15 and PE-16 in Building #1, and the elevator in Building #15 as project number 539-01-112, "Replace Elevators Phase II". Both Building #1 and Building #15 are located at the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, 3200 Vine Street, Cincinnati, Ohio. The upgrade involves replacement of the elevator mechanical and electrical components. This project requires 120-day acceptance period and is contingent on the availability of funds. Estimated cost range is between $250,000 and $500,000. This solicitation is issued on an unrestricted basis as applicable to P.L. 100-656 and is anticipated to result in a firm fixed price contract. The applicable SIC code is 1796/NAICS code 23595, Building Equipment and Other Machinery Installation Contractors. Solicitation package will be available on or about August 15, 2001. A limited number of solicitation packages are available and will be issued on a first come first service basis. All requests for solicitation shall be submitted in writing.
