Description

The Federal Aviation Administration has a requirement to construct a new Terminal Radar Approach Control (TRACON)facility in Philadelhia, PA. Phase I of this project consists of constructing an 11,000 S.F., steel framed Base Building with precast concrete curtain wall to be connected via a link to the existing TRACON building. Additionally, this phase includes construction a new access road and entrance to the site, a hydraulic dock lift, and associated site and utility work. Phase II consists of refurbishing the existing TRACON buiding. This includes modifications to the existing electrical system, architectural upgrades, security and fire detections upgrades. The estimated price range for construction is between $2,000,000.00 and $4,000,000.00. The Request for Offers (RFO) has been sent to the following pre-qualified companies: Sedalco, Inc., Fort Worth, Texas; Structural Associates, Inc., East Syracuse, NY; W.M. Schlosser Company, Hyattsville, MD.; Daniel J. Keating Company, Narberth, PA.; and E.P. Guidi, Ambler, PA. The closing date for this RFO is August 9, 2001.
