Description

The Fleet & Industrial Supply Center has a Fiscal Year 2002 requirement for numerous laboratory reagents in support of various Western Pacific customers including USNH Yokosuka, BMC Atsugi, BMC Iwakuni, BMC Sasebo, and Diego Garcia. The required reagents involve the following manufacturers: Gamma Biological; Hematronics; Fischer Scientific; Sigma; Imnucor; ShurTek Diagnostics; Remel; Blackhawk Biosystem; Strek Laboratory; Beckton Dickinson; Bayer Corp; Aleegiance; Spectral Diagnostics; Polymed; Sureline; Quantimetrix; Organon Teknica; Biomeriux; Ortho Clinical Diag; BBL; Hardy; AMPCOR; OTC; Beckman Coulter; Irvine Scientific; and Quidel. Due to the need to coordinate deliveries and to ensure a single point of contact in the event problems arise, the Government requires that the single company awarded this contract, be able to supply/distribute all the above listed manufacturer's parts. Additionally the contractor shall be able to ship all items directly to an FPO AP address via military express mail. Depending upon location, deliveries will be required either on a bi-weekly, monthly, quarterly, or bi-annual basis. The acquisition will be solicited utilizing the procedures of FAR Part 12, Commercial Acquisition. It is anticipated that the RFQ will be issued on or about 15 Aug 01, with quotes due by 22 Aug 01. When issued, the RFQ will be posted on the Navy Electronic Commerce Online (NECO) web link "www.neco.navy.mil". All offerors wishing to submit an offer, are responsible for downloading their own copy of the RFQ from this website (WinZIP or equivalent is required) and to frequently monitor that site for any amendments to the RFQ. No telephone or fax requests for the RFQ package will be accepted. An email request to "brad_e_demers@puget.fisc.navy.mil" will be accepted in the event an offeror experiences problems downloading the RFQ from the NECO website. No bidders list will be maintained by this office. No paper copies of the RFQ and/or amendments will be mailed. Failure to respond to electronically posted solicitations or quotes and associated amendments prior to the date and time set for receipt of proposals or quotes may render your proposal or quote nonresponsive and result in the rejection of same.=20
