Background "Contact: Mr. Walt Pemberton, 937/257-6145 Ext. 4301 REQUEST FOR QUOTE This is a Request for Quote for Solicitation No. F33601-01-T-0511 for Engine Shipping Adapters for the F16 GE Engine NSN 1730-01-189-4164QS for Base Year with a one year option for Engine Shipping Adapters for F16 Pratt & Whitney Engine NSN 1730-00-503-7625. Solicitation for the shipping adapters is included in the documents library. Any source wanting to submit a quote must register as a source and must be registered in Central Contractor Registration (CCR)and email walt.pemberton@wpafb.af.mil for the data and specifications for the engine adapters Mr. Michael Higgins has been appointed as Ombudsman to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development. The purpose of the Ombudsman is to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. Existence of an Ombudsman does not diminish the authority of the Program Director or the Contracting Officer. Accordingly, the Ombudsman does not participate in the preparation of solicitations, the evaluation of proposals, or the source selection process; and, therefore, for routine matters on individual solicitations, contact the contract specialist. Only companies, including their affiliates, with average annual receipts of 1000 or less during the last three (3) completed fiscal years are considered small. This award will be made using the Contracting by Negotiation procedures in accordance with FAR 15. Any source wanting to submit a quote must register as a potential source.
