Description

This project entails the demolition of 141 MFH units which provides for a basic contract broken up into two phases. There are also two options for this acquisition. Under Option #1, fifteen (15) of the 141 units to be demolished shall instead remain. Under Option #2, existing concrete driveway approaches shall be removed and resulting voids filled with new curbs and gutters. Furthermore, there are two Bid Schedules for this project. The difference between the two Bid Schedules is the Construction Periods for CLIN 0001 and 0002. As indicated on both Bid Schedules, only one Bid Schedule will be awarded. A Firm-Fixed Price contract award is contemplated for this acquisition. The magnitude of this project is between $1,000,000 to $5,000,000. This procurement is set aside for certified 8(a) contractors currently working in the state of TEXAS. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 235940 with a small business size standard of $11,500,000. The successful contractor will be selected using Past Performance Trade Off (PPTO) procedures, resulting in the Best Value to the Government. Past performance is equal to price. The solicitation will be issued electronically on 10 Aug 01 via the Federal Business Opportunities web page at http://eps.gov/. The mandatory site visit is scheduled for 13 Aug 01 at 10:00 AM CDT. Again, this site visit is MANDATORY. Any proposals received from contractors not attending the site visit will be considered NON-RESPONSIVE. Upon issuance of the solicitation, the drawings for this project will be available upon request from the 7th Contracting Squadron points of contact identified below. Once the solicitation is posted it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review this website frequently for any updates/amendments to any and all documents.
