Description

The U. S. Coast Guard Maintenance and Logistics Command Atlantic Naval Engineering Division (MLCA (v)) has drafted new Standard Specifications for the commercial repair of Coast Guard cutters. This edition, hereafter referred to as the 2001 edition, will supersede the 1999 edition, and will apply to repair contracts with start dates beginning in February 2002 and thereafter. Beginning 30 July 2001, the draft 2001 standards will be posted for contractors to review on the MLCA (v) internet site located under the title "Contractor News". Comments may be submitted via the online "specification feedback" form located on the MLCA(v) internet site under "Specification Feedback".
