Description

The United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) is seeking potential sources and information regarding comprehensive end-to-end, Special Operations Joint Interagency Collaboration Cell (SOJICC) development, fielding and sustainment services through multiple security levels of the computing and communications environment (unclassified, collateral, SCI, and other). Information and "ideas" are being sought from industry for Information Technology in data mining, data storage and retrieval, nodal and link analysis and data visualization. SOJICC will specifically cover hardware and software, end use connectivity, system administration and data base administration, system and toolset improvements and training. USSOCOM will host an Industry Day on August 28, 2001 to provide further information. Attendees will require an SCI clearance. Interested sources shall supply the following information no later than August 14, 2001. (1) Name and address of company, size of company, POC, phone number, facsimile number and email address; (2) technical capabilities with core process or expertise in the areas indicated above; (3) level of resources with SCI clearances; (4) teaming arrangements; (5) relevant experience within the past five (5) years; (6) experience with performance based contracts; and (7) suggested methods for ease in the proposal and contracting processes. The government will be available to address individual company issues/questions on an as needed basis in separate sidebars. This synopsis is strictly for market research information and planning purposes and should not be construed as a commitment by the Government. Respondents will not be notified of any results from the data submitted from this announcement. Availability of any formal solicitation will be announced separately.
