Description

The Federal Highway plans to make award to the National Governors Association (NGA) to design and host a major regional policy forum for Governors and teams of their senior advisors, representing transportation, planning economic development and environment to discuss growth policy and program implementation issues and share best practices. NGA has a direct relationship with the nation's governors. Therefore, NGA is uniquely qualified to advance the development of tools and resources to enable governors to continue their role as active partners in promoting smart growth. Because NGA is uniquely qualified to provide the required service, no other source is considered reasonably available. This is a Simplified Acquisition and the anticipated award date is on or about August 9, 2001.
