Description

The National Imagery and Mapping Agency intends to procure commercial software licenses/maintenance on a sole source basis in accordance with FAR 6.302-1 with GE SmallWorld, 5600 Greenwood Plaza Blvd., Englewood, CO 80111. GE Smallworld will provide GE Smallworld Software with the following components: (1) GE SmallWorld GIS developer with system access, (2) SmallWorld internet Application server, (3) Spatial object Manager-Oracle Spatial, (4) Spatial Object Manager-ESRI shape Spatial Object Manager-Raster, (5) FME for GE SmallWorld (Single User NT). The period of performance will be from 01 August 01 to 31 July 02. This item will serve as our enterprise applicaiton intergration (EAI) tool for connecting our Imagery and Geospatial activities to the e-business functions. Firms that recognize they can provide this service are encouraged to identify themselves and give written notification and provide supporting evidence to the Contracting Officer within (7) calendar days after the date of this publication of this synopsis. The final determination by the Government not to open this requirement to competition is based on information provided and is solely with the discretion of of the Government. Only written responses will be considered.
