Description

The U.S. Department of Commerce, NOAA intends to establish a fixed-price, requirements type contract for the manufacture and purchase of Radiosonde Train Regulators for the National Weather Service in Kansas City, Missouri. NSN: 6660-00-861-0312, ASN: J382. The acquisition is for a base period of twelve months and two-twelve month option periods. The estimated quantity is 200 boxes per year. The train regulators are to be manufactured in accordance with the National Weather Service Specification Number J382-SP001, dated February 6, 1986 and drawing number J382-SD001/B. The supplies are to be shipped on an FOB destination basis. Any business source able to provide the items referenced herein is encouraged to respond to this announcement within 15 calendar days of its publication. A solicitation will be available on or about August 9, 2001. All requests for a copy of the solicitation must be in writing.
