- The Natioonal Heart, Lung and Blood Institute (NHLBI), intends to purchase The Spectris MR Injector System, manufactured by Medrad Inc. This is a brand name only purchase, and only the Medrad Spectris MR Injector System will be accepted. This system must include Display Control Console, Battery charging Unit, Injector Head/Stand, Head Control Unit, Battery Pack, OTR (Communication Link), Electrical Leakage, System Capabilities, Syringe A:65 ml Qwik-ti Syringe Disposable-Syringe B: 65 ml Qwik-Fit Syringe Disposable, Injection capabilities -- One bi-phasic injection per syringe, for a total of 4 phases per protocol, Storage Capabilities- twenty protocols of up to 4 phases each. The specific items are as follows: Item#1, quantity one (1) each, catalog# SMR20010, Spectris system MR Injection system 10 ft. Discount (Value) Net value. Item#2, quantity one (1) each, Catalog#3006861, 25FT. OTR Cable for Spectris Injector; Item#3, quantity one (1) each, catalog#3006863, 75FT. OTR Cable; Item#4, quantity one (1) each, Start Switch W/ Armed, 20FT Remote Coiled Light; Item#5, quantity one (1) each, catalog#SPC200A, North American Style power cord; Item#6, quantity one (1) each, catalog#78101-00-BM-01, 110V Product Info Pack; Item#7, Quantity one (1) each, catalog#SS1200, Installation. There are no set-aside restrictions for this requirement. Responses to this notice must submit clear and convincing documentation indicating that the items proposed are the brand name items required. The quotation shall include the itemized price, prompt payment terms, the F.O.B. Point (Destination or Origin), Taxpayer Identification Number (TNN), Dun & Bradstreet Number (DUNS), and descriptive literature and detailed specifications describing the product offered. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 334516, Size Standard 500 employees is designated for this requirement. The Government intends to evaluate offers and award a contract without discussions with Offerors providing the required specifications are outlined in their proposal. Proposals will be evaluated on conformance to the government specifications, quality, price, and delivery time. Therefore, the initial offer should contain the offerors' best terms from a technical and price standpoint. Interested parties may identify their interest and capabilities in response to this requirement. Quotations will be due fifteen (15) calendar days from the publication date of this synopsis or Auust 10th, 2001 by 3:00 P.M. Local time, whichever is later. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct future competitive procurement. Interested vendors capable of furnishing the government with the products in this synopsis should submit two (2) copies of a quotation, referencing synopsis number NHLBI-PS-2001-041, to the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute, Contracts Operations Branch, Procurement Section, Building RKL2, Suite 6042, 6701 Rockledge Drive, Bethesda, MD. 20892-7902, attention: Ms. Tabitha Davol, Purchasing Agent.
