Description
This is for a firm fixed-price contract for eleven (11) each Indicator, Position, Aileron Trim; NSN 6610-00-856-3957UC, P/N: 4L97518-105A (98897) or 1497806-001 (55972). Applicable to C-5 aircraft. DIM: 1.840 in. diameter, 5.150 in. depth, 0.95 pounds. MATL: metal. FUNC: Indicator provides the flight station display of the direction of aileron trim and the degrees of aileron displacement from the neutral position. NHA: Panel assembly -- Instrument -- Center Pilot -- Dwg #4E11003. Tech Order: 5F8-17-13-3. DEL: June 2002. The approximate RFQ issue date will be 16 August 2001 with the approximate response date of 13 September 2001. RFQ will be available for viewing or downloading from www.FedBizOpps.gov website only. No telephone requests. NO HARD COPIES WILL BE ISSUED. Restricted to Lockheed Martin Corp (CAGE 98897), Marietta, GA 30063 and Honeywell Int'l Inc., Defense Flight Systems (CAGE 55972), Teterboro, NY 07608. All responsible sources solicited may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered. All potential sources should contact the buyer/PCO identified above for additional information and/or to communicate concerns, if any, concerning this acquisition. If your concerns are not satisfied by the Contracting Officer, an Ombudsman has been appointed to hear serious concerns that are not resolved through established channels. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the Program Director or Contracting Officer, but to communicate serious contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate Government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to the source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of the proposals or in the source selection process.
