Description

The Saint Lawrence Seaway Development Corporation plans to issue a Request for Quotation to purchase two (2) furnaces/heaters designed for moving large volumes of air to heat open areas without the use of ductwork. One (1) unit shall be oil-fired and designed for an output of approximately 1,750,000 BTU's and 50,000 cfm and the second unit shall be equipped with a combination propane and oil-fired burner and designed for an output of approximately 700,000 BTU's and 20,000 cfm. Both units shall be designed for use in areas where they will be subject to dripping water (i.e. at times like a light rain) and the framework of the various components/sections must be designed for picking and handling by crane and forklift. Delivery shall be required on or about November 16, 2001. The RFQ will be released approx. August 20, 2001. Response time will be 4:30PM EST on September 19, 2001. This will be a Firm-Fixed Price contract. This is 100% set aside for Small Business. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the Saint Lawrence Seaway Development Corporation. The RFQ may be requested by mail to P.O.
