Description

The Operations Support Command (OSC) intends to award a three (3) year, Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Requirements Contract. The requirement is to inspect, modify, crimp and fuze 105MM, HE, M1 Cartridges for use in the Air Force AC-130 Gunships. Processes are to be performed in accordance with the Scope of Work (SOW) and Technical Data Package (TDP) specified in the solicitation. Government Furnished Material (GFM) will be provided under the contract. The first year estimated quantity is 55,400 cartridges. The quantity specified represents the Governments best estimate, however actual requirements may be more or less than specified. Cartridges will be furnished with steel cases and must be converted to brass cases and primers. NSN: 1315-01-462-9367 (CA17). Part Number: 9278792-8. North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this procurement is 332993. This acquisition shall be conducted on a full and open competitive basis. The Government intends to make a contract award based upon the best value to the Government. The estimated issue date is 8 Aug 2001 with closing date 7 Sep 2001.
