Description

Furnish exclusive use flight services fully contractor operated and maintained consisting of one light turbine helicopter (Bell 206BIII or equivalent) in support of perimeter mapping for the Bureau of Land Management to be stationed at Reno, Nevada. The contractor must hold a current Federal Aviation Administration Air Carrier Operating Certificate. The term of the contract will be approximately 30 days with an option to extend, if necessary. This contract will be used in support of perimeter mapping. The procurement method will be the OAS Aircraft Rental Agreement (ARA) and award will be made by modification to a current ARA. Service vehicle will be required. Relief crew may be requested, and vendor may provide. Pilot, aircraft and service vehicle must meet Interagency fire standards. Due to Government exigency, only vendors with current ARA's carded for interagency fire, in proximity to the work area will be solicited by the contracting office. Fire perimeter data will be collected by the contractor with a BLM supplied portable GPS receiver. Other GPS data collection projects and non-fire missions, may require different data standards and collection techniques. These standards and techniques will be identified by BLM.
