Description

Successful contractor will be required to collect and analyze both grab and 24 hour composite water samples at the Waste Water Treatment Plants located at Camp Shelby Training Site, Hattiesburg, Mississippi in accordance with NPDES Permit No MS0024996 and Camp McCain Training Site, Elliott, Mississippi in accordance with NPDES Permit No. 0029564. Analysis/testing will include, but not limited to: INFLUENT: pH, Dissolved Oxygen, 30 minute sludge settleability, total suspended solid, nitrogen content as ammonia, BOD5. EFFLUENT: pH, Fecal Coliform, chlorine, total residual BOD5, total suspended solids, nitrogen content as ammonia and dissolved oxygen. Period of Performance will be a base year with one option to begin October 1, 2001. Solicitation will be available about August 1, 2001 with proposals due NLT 4:30 P.M. Central Daylight Savings Time August 21, 2001. All responsible offerors will be considered. The solicitation will be a 100% Total Small Business Set-Aside. SIC Code 8734, NAICS Code is 54138; Small Business Size Standard is 500 employees. The successful contractor must be a qualified laboratory certified with the Mississippi Department of Environmental Quality plus EPA.
