Description

The Naval Air System Command intends to procure engineering and technical services, repair and overhaul of unique flight critical items, and unique flight critical parts for the MK1 and MK2 aircraft in support of Egyptian Air Force Depot Level Maintenance from Westland Helicopters, 1601 N. Kent Street, Rosslyn Plaza, Suite 1013, Arlington, VA 22209. Westland Helicopters is the original manufacturer of these helicopters, and as such is the only source with the requisite technical knowledge, data, experience and tooling to advise on design changes, provide technical data and produce, repair and overhaul unique flight critical components. The only components to be procured under this vehicle will be unique flight critical parts that cannot be obtained through Naval Supply sources. Vendors must be USN or OEM certified to supply or perform repair and overhaul of flight critical parts. An Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity contract is contemplated with a base period of one year and options for four additional years.
