Description

The Albuquerque Job Corps Center is soliciting bids for the position of Dental Hygientist. The services of the hygientist will include but not be limited to oral exams, emergency treatment, routine dental care, dental health education on proper method of brushing teeth and other oral hygiene. In addition the hygientist will follow care by care plan as outlined by the Center's Dentist. A copy of the current license must be included as part of the bid. Any renewals of upgrades must be provided to the Center within 30 days of occurrence. The bid will be for 2 years with 3 option years at the Center's discretion. Increases in price will be predicated on directions received from The Job Corps National Office. Bids should be based on 16 hours per week. The period of performance will begin on October 1, 2001. Bids must be received at the Center on or before August 15, 2001. Bids will be opened at 2:30PM on August 20, 2001 and the successful bidder will be notified on or before September 4, 2001. The successful bidder will be chosen based on their ability to provide the Center with the best overall care and not on price alone.
