- Description
- The U.S. Geological Survey Geologic Discipline has a requirement for conducting a helicopter aeromagnetic survey in southern Louisiana of approximately 300 line miles. The contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, and facilities, required for conducting frequency domain HEM and magnetic surveys in southern Louisiana to provide digitally recorded and processed airborne data. The exact location of the survey will be determined at the time of award. The survey area will be relatively square and located within the boundaries shown on the location map. Helicopter frequency domain and magnetic survey to be flown North-South at 0.25 mile (400 m) line spacing and 200 feet (60 m) above the terrain with sensor height at about 100 feet (30 m). Three evenly spaced control lines are to be flown East-West at 200 feet (60 m) above the terrain with sensor height at about 100 feet (30 m). Optional items include deliverables/processing stacked profiles, optional deliverables/processing depth sections, and optional add on line miles not to exceed 300 miles.
