Description

The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Lakehurst (NAWCADLKE), New Jersey intends to enter into negotiations with Semcor Inc., Morrestown, NJ for the procurement of environmental and information technology services to ensure continued compliance with environmental regulations while continuing the facility mission. Technical performance and adherence to scheduled milestones are critical for station mapping of environmental and planning data, pollution prevention, air quality, and environmental management. The work is to be performed under General Services Administration (GSA) Contract N68335-00-A-0251, D.O. 0004. The period of performance for this effort will be one year from the date of this order. The work that will be performed under the new delivery order requires personnel familiar with geographic mapping and air quality software, NAWCAD's unique facility infrastructure and environmental management initiatives, and regulatory requirements. The Government intends to procure these services under the authority of 10 USC 2304 (c) (1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit a proposal, which may be used by the Government in determining whether or not to open this requirement to competition. Responses should reference N68335-00-A-0251 delivery order 0004. Information must be received no later than 13 August 2001. A determination by the Government not to open this requirement to competition based on the responses received to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government
