Description

This project consists of three separate projects on the Captain Edward Penniman House and Carriage Barn. This house is an historic structure, built in 1868, as a 2 story wood frame structure with a mansard roof. The work on this structure consists of: (1) replacement of the house and barn mansard roofs, and repairs to the house and barn gutter system, (2) painting of the house and barn exteriors, and (3) replacement of 32 lexan storm windows. This Invitation for Bid (IFB) is issued pursuant to Public Law 100-656, Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program, and is open to firms of all sizes. The NAICS codes are 235610, 235210 and 235920. A single award will be made. Bids are due at 2:00 p.m. eastern time on Friday, September 14, 2001. A pre-bid meeting will be scheduled. The construction estimate is between $100,000 and $250,000.
