Description

The Army requires a IDIQ firm fixed price construction contract to furnish all plant, labor, materials and perform all operations required in connection with Miscellaneous Repairs to Timber Bridges, Fort Stewart and Hunter Army Airfield, Georgia. The work includes, but is not necessarily restricted to the following items: (1) The contractor shall meet Government personnel for the purpose of verifying site conditions of each bridge; (2) Contractor shall demolish as issued by the delivery order existing bridge(s) which may include bulkheads, wingwalls, stringers, piles, caps, decking, and miscellaneous items; (3) Contractor shall remove all debris and demolished material to the appropriate sites; and (4) Contractor shall construct new timber bridges or repair component replacement as issued by the delivery order to include bulkheads, wingwalls, stringers, decking, piles, caps, and miscellaneous bolts and fastners shown on drawings. Performance time is 365 days after receipt of Notice To Proceed. This contract contains options to extend the term of the contract for two (2) additional one year periods. Sic code is 1622, NAICS Code is 234120 and the size standard is $27,500,000.00. Solicitation will be issued as 100% Small Business Set-Aside. All responsible small businesses may submit a bid that will be considered. Magnitude of th project is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. Bid opening date and time will be established and placed on the solicitation at time of issue. Paper copies of the solicitation will not be available.
