Description

The work consists of the application of polyurethane flotation foam to the hull walls of four interior watertight compartments on the 110-foot long Landing Barge located at the end of Pier 1 in the Charlestown Navy Yard, Boston National Historical Park and also applying polyurethane foam to the hull walls of the compartments located at either end of the barge, to supplement existing foam. This acquisition is subject to P.L. 100-656, Small Business Competitive Demonstration Program, and is open to all concerns regardless of size. The estimated price range for this project is between $25,000 -- $100,000. Performance time is 30 calendar days. Contractors are urged to make a site visit to ascertain work conditions. Solicitation packages will be available on or after August 17, 2001.
