Description

Construction of new Armed Forces Reserve Center(AFRC) will consist of a 7,000 square meter(approx. 77,000 sq.ft.) training building, 1,300 square meter(approx. 14,000 sq.ft.) maintenance building(OMS/AMSA) and 186 square meter(approx. 2,000 sq. ft.)unheated storage building. The site work will include paved asphalt driveways and parking lots for private and military vehicles. The facilities will include standing seam metal roof, cmu, brick, structural steel framework, steel studs, drywall, aluminum windows and doors, furniture systems, equipment storage racks, electrical systems, communications systems, and mechanical systems. Project includes a 600-member AFRC with administrative areas, assembly area, kitchen area, weapons area, educational areas, storage areas, human and building support areas. The OMS/AMSA will include shop offices, tool and parts storage areas, special material and waste areas, communication and electrical shop, small arms repair areas, supply room, breakroom, maintenance bays, washracks, fencing and lighting. There are six options included in this project: (1) Collateral OMAR Equipment; (2) Paving of the South MEP Access Drive; (3) Construction of a Bi-Level Concrete Loading Ramp; (4) POV Lighting; (5) Landscaping; and (6) Landscape Irrigation System. The estimated cost range is $10,000,000 to $25,000,000. The estimated completion time is 550 calendar days. The NAICS Code is 233320. The solicitation is estimated to be issued about August 15, 2001.
