- Request for Proposal No.: R-OPC-22012 -- TRAINING AND MEETING SERVICES -=20 Amendment No. 1=20 The purpose of this modification is to provide clarification to the synopsis/solicitation. Therefore, the following apply. (1) The NAICS code for this procurement is 561990. (2) This procurement is a total small business set-aside. (see synopsis/solicitation for details). (3) The RFP closing date is August 10, 2001. The time remains unchanged. (4) Under the three sample courses that will be used for Evaluation Purposes Only, the following changes shall apply: (a) Washington, DC -- The Office of Housing will conduct a training course in the WDC for 120 to 150 of its senior management staff traveling in for the meeting. The maximum number of participants in the meeting is 200. The will be a need for a maximum of 4 breakout rooms (the dates have not been decided as yet). There will be 4 attendees that will require special accommodations -- wheel chair; blind; deaf; and difficulty walking. The meeting will be conducted April 8 -- 12, 2002. The dates are fixed, as the Secretary, Deputy Secretary and the Assistant Secretary of Housing will make a formal award to several of the managers at the meeting. You receive the request 6 weeks prior to the course dates. Site needs to be in close proximity to the HUD Building. Each offeror must prepare an outline of how you would proceed in securing this space. Accommodations have to be within the Government per diem for the Washington, DC. What costs would HUD incur as a result of this requirement?=20 (b) Chicago, Illinois -- The Office of FHEO will conduct 3 individual sessions of Investigation Skills in downtown Chicago. One (1) session will be held July 2002 and two (2) will be held in the month of August 2002. Facility selected has to be handicapped accessible. Facility selected has to provide the Govt Per Diem. Each session will have 55 participants lodging and 65 participants meeting classroom style. Provide same pricing schedule requirements as sample #1.=20 =20 (c) San Francisco, CA and/or Seattle, WA -- The Office of Community Planning and Development (CPD) will conduct 2 individual sessions of Community Development Block Grant in either of the cities listed above. The meeting space requirements are the same as meeting number 2. Provide same pricing schedule requirements as sample #1. (4) The following audio-visual equipment is required for the three sample sites/courses: Overhead with screen, flipchart and stand, lapel microphone, table microphone and access to a telephone line. Also, coffee must be available during the sessions.=20
