- Description
- This is a combined Synopsis/Solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation DAHA40-01-T-0011 is issued as a RFQ. This is a solicitation document and incorporates provisions which are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-27. NAICS code is 541922. This requirement is for the Tennessee Army National Guard, Visual Information Support Center located in Smyrna, TN. The requirement is for a base year and three (3) option years should the government choose to execute the options. Award will be based on lowest price. Technically acceptable proposal 1. The contractor shall be required to provide a wide range of consulting, support and training services to the government for requirements generated by the Visual Information Support Center (VISC). The scope of on-site consulting services will include the following specific areas of expertise: (a) Script writing; (b) Story board writing; (c) Shot listing; (d) Voice-overs, Broadcast and Non-Broadcast; (e) Pre-Production Meetings; (f) Assisting in Directing and Producing Video Productions; (g) Assisting in Editing both Video and Audio productions; (h) Still Photography 2-1/4" Large Format; (I) Rapid Response Documentation Team (RRDT) Team Member; (j) Training Support; (k) Custom Production Music. The services contemplated above shall primarily be to support the mission of the VISC. The contractor may be asked to perform any one or a combination of the above services for selected projects. The purpose is to complete the assigned project and/or to assist our employees in completing the projects at hand. It is anticipated that real-life projects will be assigned to VISC personnel along with the requirement for employees to complete any, all or any combination of the above tasks (a through k, above) within a specified period of time. The objective of the services provided is twofold: first, to directly assist the VISC in completing tasks at hand in a timely and successful manner and second, to develop VISC employees to the point where individuals can, within a reasonable period of time, complete VI tasks independently of an outside consultant. The contractor may also be required to work independently without the assistance of VISC personnel to accomplish an assigned project. The contractor must be able to provide on-site services as well as travel as required by real-life projects, emergencies or disasters. The period of performance for the basic contract shall be 1 Oct 2001 through 30 Sept 2002, subject to the availability of funds for succeeding fiscal years. Separate bid prices shall be provided for each of the three (3) periods specified. OPTION 1: 1 Oct 2002 through 30 Sept 2003. OPTION 2: 1 Oct 2003 through 30 Sept 2004.
