Description
Notice of intent to negotiate a sole source contract with University of Wisconsin-Research & Sponsored Programs (UW) for the NW Fisheries Science Center (NWFSC). Purpose of proposed contract is to provide scientific and policy guidance on the design of new institutional economic systems and policies to manage groundfish stocks. Dr. Daniel Bromley with UW Dept. of Agricultural & Applied Economics is a nationally-recognized expert in institutional foundations of economic systems and in natural resource economics. During his career, Dr. Bromley has published eleven books, forty-five chapters, and sixty-six journal articles on diverse topics in institutional economics and natural resource economics. Since 1974, Dr. Bromley has served as Editor of the journal Land Economics.
