Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, located in Birmingham, Alabama requires a maintenance contract for Radiographic Equipment located in it's Radiology, Surgical, and Medical Departments. The equipment that the contract will cover are listed as follows: (1) Siemens Medical Systems, R&F X-Ray System; (2) Continental X-Ray, TOMO X-Ray System; (3) Siemens Medical Systems, Siremobile C-Arm; (4) Philips Medical Systems, C-Arm System; (5) General Electric Medical Systems, Portable X-Ray Machine; (6) Eastmon Kodak Radiography, Film Processor; (7) OEC, C-Arm Mobile X-Ray Unit; (8) OEC, Urological X-Ray System; (9) Fujitsu America, Image Processor and Storage System. A more detailed chart with serial and model numbers will be provided in the solicitation. This contract will require preventive maintenance, and repair service to include all labor, supervision, and parts necessary to maintain this equipment within factory specification. Contractor shall perform semi-annual preventive maintenance inspection at six month intervals or more often as indicated in the schedule of work and as indicated in the contracts statement of work. This contract will be for a base year plus four option years. Contract to begin October 1, 2001. The NAICS for this procurement is 811219. The estimated date of issuance is August 15, 2001.
