Description

The VAMC Birmingham requires full service maintenance and repair services for the AMSCO/STERIS STERILIZATION EQUIPMENT to include all labor, supervision, and parts, necessary to maintain the equipment in operational condition according to manufacturer's specifications. The contractor shall perform preventive maintenance inspections (PMI) at the intervals specified in the statement of work in the solicitation. These inspections are to be scheduled at least three (3) days in advance with the Contracting Officer's Technical Representative (COTR) and are to be performed within the first five (5) working days of each of the months specified. PMIs will be performed in accordance with manufacturer's instructions and will include, as a minimum, the following: visual inspection, calibration checks, cleaning and lubrication, electrical checks and performance checks. The period of this contract will be 10-1-01 through 9-30-02 with four (4) one-year renewal options. Estimated solicitation issue date is O/A August 17, 2001. This procurement will be processed as an unrestricted acquisition. Any prospective contractor must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) in order to be eligible for award.
