Description

US Army Corps of Engineers, Jacksonville District, intends to excavate, remove and place excavated material in an adjacent berm; install 3 sections of an open cut 24 inch RCP with pre-cast concrete end sections; plant the graded wetland areas (4.0 acres); stabilize the adjacent slopes (1.86 acres); and do reforestation plantings on the adjacent berm(0.69 acres). The work areas are within the Pinones Commonwealth Forest. Contractor shall provide all plants (field collected and nursery grown), labor, equipment, materials, supplies and services as necessary to complete excavation, removal and disposal of the fill material and plantings of mangrove and upland plants. Following approval by the Contracting Officer of the completion of planting activities, the Contractor shall conduct required maintenance activities to ensure a 90% survival of the installed plant material for a period of thirty (30) days. A firm-fixed price commercial item contract is considered for this acquisition. Solicitation is Set-Aside for Small Business Concerns, therefore only small businesses are invited to respond. SIC Code is 9521, NAICS Code 561730, Small Business Size Standard is $5 million in annual receipts.
