- Description
- The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA), Office of Medical and Clinical Affairs, Center for Substance Abuse Prevention (OMCA/CSAP), through the PSC Acquisitions, Program Support Center (PSC) intends to award a sole source acquisition to Balm in Gilead located in New York. for Faith-based technical assistance and capacity building services. The objective of this requirement is to provide targeted technical assistance to faith-based entities that were funded by the Substance Abuse Prevention and HIV Prevention Initiative (SAP & HIVP). This proposed requirement for which the Government intends to solicit only one source is under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b). Interested concerns may identify their interest and submit a capability statement that demonstrates their ability to provide the services required. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. No solicitation is available; therefore, requests for such document will be considered invalid responses. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed requirement is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no affirmative responses are received, the Contracting Officer will proceed to issue a purchase order to Balm in Gilead. Responses must be in writing and refer to 01M008950 to the attention of Diane Coger. See Note 22. =20
