Description

The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA), Center for Mental Health Services, Special Programs Development Branch, through the Program Support Center/Division of Acquisition Management, intends to award a twelve (12) month simplified acquisition entitled, "Community Education and Dissemination of 15+ Take Time to Talk about Bullying Program".=20 The Community Education and Dissemination Project is designed to promote and implement anti-bullying messages and strategies throughout the Washington DC metropolitan area, to include Virginia and Maryland. This project will serve as a prototype for national dissemination strategies utilizing Safe Schools/Healthy Students sites and other organizations interested in enhancing these key messages about the issue of bullying and how it affects school/youth violence. Specifically, this requirement will develop a community-wide education and dissemination project, driven by the media, on best ways to foster and promote media coverage about anti-bullying messages, strategies and activities as supportive elements to help reduce school/youth violence. The contractor will develop and produce media driven community-based projects on bullying and anti-bullying strategies and preventative activities.
