Description

The United States Army TACOM-ARDEC at Picatinny Arsenal, NJ is seeking comments from industry on Draft Solicitation DAAE30-01-Q-0233 for the FUTURE COMBAT SYSTEM (FCS) MULTI-ROLE ARMAMENT AND AMMUNITION SYSTEM (MRAAS). The documents offered for review are: (1) Statement of Objectives (SOO), (2) Solicitation Section L, Solicitation Preparation Instructions, (3) Solicitation Section M, Basis for Award, (4) Key Performance Attributes, (5) Appendix A, of Key performance Attributes (6), Appendix B, of Key performance Attributes, (7) System Characteristics, (8) Expectations of Final EMD. All documents are available by clicking the hyperlink below. Any comments/questions will be considered when the final Request for Proposal (RFP) is constructed. Please use the following quidance when submitting comments: Identify information in the Draft RFP requiring clarification to allow preparation of a valid proposal. Provide suggested changes to the Draft RFP, which will better align any resultant contract with contemporary industry business practices, and rationale for those changes. Submitters grant the Government unrestricted use of any comments and suggested changes offered. The Government intends to conduct all communications electronically. Prospective offerors and other interested parties are invited to provide comments, or direct questions to Robert McMinn via e-mail address: rmcminn@pica.army.mil. Comments will be accepted until August 9, 2001 at 1630 hours. The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this draft RFQ or to otherwise pay for the information solicited.
