Description

The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division, Newport, Rhode Island intends to acquire from Chesapeake Sciences Corp on a sole source basis the following spare parts for the Gould Island Acromms and Tracking Range (GIATR): 1) GIATR preamplifier assembly -- quantity 1 each; 2) GIATR acoustic node -- quantity 2 each; 3) GIATR transmit hub -- quantity 1 each; 4) GIATR receive hub -- quantity 1 each; 5) GIATR power amplifier -- quantity 2 each. This sole source acquisition is authorized under 10 USC 2304(c)(1) Only One Responsible Source. Chesapeake Sciences Corp. designed the data acquisition system and its components and the design information is considered "source controlled", and they are the only company able to provide this material. Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures will be utilized for this acquisition. Delivery will be FOB Destination Newport, Rhode Island 90 days after contract award. NAICS Code is 334419, 500 employees. Our department no longer issues solicitations or amendments in paper form.
