Description

NASA/GSFC announces the release of Request for Proposal RFP5-6088-231 for Environmental Test & Integration Support Services for the Applied Engineering Technology Directorate's Mechanical Systems Center. This procurement is being conducted as a Full and Open competition. This procurement will result in a Cost-Plus-Award-Fee contract. The Statement of Work (SOW) describes the scope of the requirements. The contract will have a two (2) year basic period with one (1) three-year option period for a maximum of five (5) years. This service requirement is subject to U.S. Department of Labor wage determination (WD) (Ref. FAR Part 22.10). Copies of the Department of Labor Wage Determinations are part of the proposal library and will also be available upon request. Certified Cost or Pricing Data will not be required for this procurement. However, the required cost information and the format for submission are included in Section L of the RFP. In accordance with Federal Regulation Acquisition (FAR) 52.237-1 entitled "Site Visit" a site visit is scheduled as indicated below. Date: August 9, 2001 Time: 9:00 AM -- 12:00 PM Location: Goddard Space Flight Center Greenbelt, MD 20771 Government personnel will tour the facilities with potential offerors. No discussion of the requirements and no questions regarding this solicitation will be entertained. Any questions may later be addressed or otherwise answered with the issuance of an amendment to the RFP. Questions or comments regarding this solicitation shall be submitted in writing by mail or electronically to the individual listed below.
