- Description
- Provide four (4) Acoustic current sensors to measure and record 3D water flows in close proximity to fishing gear. Acoustic current sensors must measure all components of water flow around fishing gear, including three orthogonal components of linear flow. Acoustic sensor must provide independent recording of at least 1000 sets of all measurements at preset time intervals. Acoustic current sensors will be mounted on fishing gear and must be rugged to withstand jarring when deployed in ocean environment and also due to contact with sea floor. Acoustic current sensor manufactured by GNM, Inc. meets these requirements and is named as a reference to determine if competitors provide comparable equipment. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency. This is a simplified acquisition with an estimated value of less than $100,000.
